Privacy Policy

Molt Belle Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information protection and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Act”). The Company handles and protects personal information appropriately in accordance with the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”). Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used herein shall have the meanings prescribed in the Personal Information Protection Act.

1. Definition of Personal Information

In this Privacy Policy, "personal information" refers to information defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The Company uses personal information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide our services and products (hereinafter “our services, etc.”)

  2. To respond to inquiries and provide information related to our services, etc.

  3. To provide guidance and announcements about our services, etc.

  4. To address violations of our terms, policies, etc. related to our services, etc.

  5. To notify of changes to terms, policies, etc. related to our services, etc.

  6. To improve our services and develop new services and products

  7. To analyze browsing, behavioral, and purchase history to improve our services and develop and advertise new products/services tailored to user interests

  8. For employment management and internal procedures (for officers and employees)

  9. For shareholder management and procedures required by the Companies Act and other laws (for shareholders, stock option holders, etc.)

  10. To create statistical data in a format that cannot identify individuals, related to our services

  11. To provide information (including advertisements) from the Company

3. Changes to the Purpose of Use

The Company may change the purpose of use within a scope that is reasonably deemed relevant, and in such case, will notify or publicly announce the change to the individual concerned (hereinafter “the individual”).

4. Restrictions on Use

Except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws, the Company shall not handle personal information beyond the necessary scope to achieve the stated purpose without obtaining the individual’s consent. However, the following cases are exceptions:

  1. Cases based on laws and regulations

  2. When it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent and necessary to protect life, body, or property

  3. When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent

  4. When cooperation is necessary with a government agency or local authority, and obtaining the individual’s consent may interfere with said administrative matters

  5. When providing to academic research institutions for academic purposes (except when there’s a risk of unjustly infringing upon individual rights/interests)

5. Proper Acquisition of Personal Information

5.1 The Company acquires personal information by appropriate means and not through deception or other wrongful methods.

5.2 The Company does not obtain sensitive personal information (as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Personal Information Protection Act) without prior consent, except in the following cases:

  1. If it falls under any item of Section 4

  2. If acquired from academic institutions for academic purposes (only in joint research with said institution)

  3. If made public by the individual or legally specified bodies

  4. If visibly evident by observing or photographing the individual

  5. If provided under exceptions in Section 7.1

6. Security Management of Personal Information

The Company supervises its employees and contractors appropriately to prevent loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information. Key measures include:

  • Compliance with related laws and handling inquiries (as per Section 15)

  • Designation of responsible persons and handling procedures at each stage (acquisition, use, deletion, etc.)

  • Implementation of internal reporting systems and regular inspections

  • Employee training and confidentiality clauses in work rules

  • Restricting access to data, securing storage cabinets, and using physical locks

  • Protection of systems from unauthorized access and malware

  • Confirming data deletion or disposal is completed

7. Provision to Third Parties

7.1 The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without consent, except:

  • When subcontracted for achieving the purpose of use

  • Business succession through merger, etc.

  • Joint use under the law

7.2 For provision to foreign third parties (excluding countries recognized by the Commission), the Company obtains prior consent unless meeting legal requirements.

7.3–7.5 Records of such provision are maintained, and partner companies may receive user information as per service terms.

8. Handling of Personally Related Information

  1. When acquiring and using personally related information from third parties as personal data, the Company will obtain the individual's consent and use it within the stated purposes.

  2. When providing personally related information to third parties who will use it as personal data, the Company ensures the individual’s consent has been obtained.

9. Disclosure of Personal Information

Upon request from the individual, the Company discloses retained personal data or records of third-party provision, unless prohibited by law.

 

10. Correction, Addition, Deletion

If the individual requests correction, addition, or deletion of their data due to inaccuracy, the Company will promptly investigate and notify the individual of the result.

 

11. Suspension of Use and Provision

Upon request, the Company will suspend or delete use of personal information or halt provision to third parties if it was used beyond stated purposes, acquired improperly, or provided without consent—unless exempt under law.

 

12. Anonymously Processed Information

12.1–12.6 The Company creates and manages anonymously processed information (as defined by law) in compliance with regulations, ensuring safe handling, disclosure of data categories, and prohibition of re-identification.

 

13. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Company may use cookies or similar technologies to analyze usage and improve services. Users can disable cookies via browser settings, but certain features may become unavailable.

 

14. Use of External Services

  1. For tracking site visits:

    • Google Analytics and related advertising features

    • Functions used: Remarketing, Impression Reports, Demographic & Interest Reports

  2. Marketing Automation (if applicable):

    • A specific tool provided by [Vendor Name]

    • Cookie-based tracking for personalized sales activities
